NF:Nanofiltration

Nanofiltration membranes having a pore size in the order of nanometers (near the size of rather small ions) are specifically designed to eliminate viruses from contaminated sources. NF membranes have several applications, the main applications of which are water treatment for drinking water production, wastewater treatment, and reuse. Moreover, NF membranes can be utilized as a pretreatment for desalination. Turbidity, microorganisms, hardness, and a fraction of dissolved salts can be removed by NF membranes.
It is important to note that the production of NF membranes at DMDT will be part of the company development plan.
